A member of the Economic Commission of the Parliament: Members of Raeisi’s government should not be in the Pashikian government
Farid Mousavi, a member of the Economic Commission of the Parliament, said that the cabinet is the first encounter of society with the president’s slogans and reflects their perception of the state of society. Additionally, it indicates Pashikian’s understanding of the issues and problems that the cabinet must address. Based on this, it seems a few points need to be considered.
The first point is that for the first time, the reformist, development-oriented movement has garnered the majority of votes from the outskirts of cities and villages, which was one of the characteristics and features of the recent elections.
This parliament member noted that based on this, if we put the indicators together—namely the vote from the outskirts of cities and villages, the absence of at least half of the society in the elections, and the slogans and supportive base that stood by Pashikian—these necessitate that he avoids selecting repetitive individuals for the cabinet, who are partly responsible for the current situation due to their actions in various terms. Because one cannot use the same individuals who were themselves the architects and causes of the current situation to change it, therefore, there should be a change of faces in the cabinet.
Mousavi emphasized that this does not necessarily mean choosing young individuals, but rather my point is that repetitive individuals should not return so that society does not fall into despair and hopelessness again. Instead, they should be able to create hope and have the motivation to work. Furthermore, these individuals must believe in change, transformations, and the development of the country’s international relations.
