Member of the National Security Commission of Parliament: Rafael Grossi should not have been allowed into Iran

A member of the National Security Commission of the Parliament should not have allowed Rafael Grossi to come to Iran.

Mahmoud Abbaszadeh Meshkini, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, told ILNA news agency that in his opinion, the JCPOA’s case has long been closed.

Mr. Abbaszadeh Meshkini stated that with the departure of Hassan Rouhani’s administration and the formation of a new government, the JCPOA case is practically closed.

This member of the National Security Commission opposed Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, traveling to Iran and claimed that whenever Mr. Grossi has traveled to Iran, he has compiled any information and taken it away, using it exactly in reverse against us.

He said, ‘I believe Grossi should not have been allowed to come to Iran for a while because the information he collects and takes away is truly used against us.’

Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the Atomic Energy Agency, has traveled to Tehran to meet with officials of the Islamic Republic.
