A member of the Parliament’s Agriculture Commission: The dollar price will even reach 100,000 tomans
Zabihollah Azami Sardoei, a member of the Parliament’s Agriculture Commission, said that many meetings have taken place between the government and the Parliament in this term, but in reality, these meetings have not had any outcomes because what exists should be seen on people’s tables. Each of the representatives spoke in the meeting, and the President, who is responsible, orders the responsible bodies to refrain from creating inflation.
I hope we reach a level of rationality where at least when the heads of powers sit and issue an order, they implement it. We are witnessing a dollar that has become unbridled and has crossed the 64,000 toman mark. I think by the end of the year it will reach 80,000 tomans, and in a pessimistic scenario, it might even reach 100,000 tomans. We all expect from the government because all of this is in the government’s hands. In this regard, the government has not passed few laws, such as the housing leap and support for knowledge-based companies, which the government must implement a part of.
