A member of the Health Commission of the Parliament: Dengue will not spread as much as Corona
A member of the Health and Treatment Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly considered the transmission rate of dengue fever to be much less than that of Corona and said that this disease is not as deadly as Corona. However, let’s not forget that stress affects people’s immune systems, and people should try to maintain hygiene so that this disease can also be controlled.
Ahmad Aryannejad stated regarding the spread of dengue fever that the transmission of this disease, as it is only through mosquitoes, cannot be as rapid and widespread as Corona. The Corona disease could be easily transmitted through breathing, but this disease does not have such a characteristic.
He added that if hygiene is maintained in living and working environments, this disease will certainly not spread as quickly and widely as Corona. Therefore, in areas where there are many mosquitoes, efforts should be made to eliminate mosquitoes from living areas using tools like insecticides and nets. If mosquitoes do not suck the blood of an infected person, the disease will not be transmitted to the next person they bite. Therefore, if an infected individual is isolated and not bitten by mosquitoes, the chain of transmission will be broken.
He concluded by emphasizing that this disease is not as deadly as Corona, but let’s not forget that stress affects people’s immune systems, and people should try to maintain hygiene so that this disease can also be controlled.
