A member of the Parliament’s Industries Commission: No signatures for the impeachment of the Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade have been withdrawn.
Rasoulinejad, a member of the Parliament’s Industries Commission, said that once impeachment is officially received according to the Parliament’s regulations, no signatures can be withdrawn or added. Therefore, the impeachment of the Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade still has 42 signatures.
Unfortunately, some media outlets are acting irresponsibly and doing everything they can to prevent Parliament members from fulfilling their primary duty of overseeing ministers. Through fake and incorrect news, they intend to tarnish the name of the Islamic Parliament.
He emphasized that the spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade stated in a national media interview that some representatives are seeking personal benefits from the impeachment. I ask Mr. Fatemi Amin which representatives have made such requests and to name them so we know who intends to undermine the Parliament and its duties.
The Parliament gives a friendly warning to the government that no one has been given a blank check, and if a minister is inefficient and lacks management capability, they will definitely be removed because we are representatives of the nation, and national and public interests are our priority.
