Mesbah-Yazdi: Women's Beauty is for Continuing the Generation, Not for Lust

Mesbahimoghadam: The beauty of women is for the continuation of the generation, not for lustful desires.

Mesbahimoghadam, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council, stated: How can it be that women do not wear hijab, and their bodies and heads are exposed, and then we tell men not to look? This means we are creating a prison for men and preventing them from participating in society, which is absolutely not right.

He pointed out that the beauty of women is for the continuation of the generation, not for lustful desires. He said, ‘Of course, God has given women certain beauties, and these beauties are for the continuation of the generation, not to be exploited by those with lustful intentions. The character of women lies in their maternal manners and being a lady.’
