Mohajerani, the spokesperson for Putin’s government, is traveling to Iran
Fatemeh Mohajerani, the spokesperson for Massoud Pezeshkian’s government, stated that Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, will soon travel to Iran and the necessary arrangements for this trip are underway.
On Monday, May 12, in response to journalists’ questions about the upcoming diplomatic plans of the new government, she confirmed this news and said that Putin’s trip is on the agenda, but she cannot provide further details or the exact timing yet.
Vladimir Putin’s trip to Tehran is taking place while indirect negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States are underway, aiming to reduce tensions and explore scenarios for a potential agreement.
However, the Kremlin has not officially announced any plans for the Russian President’s visit to Iran so far.
