Minister of Communications: Messaging Traffic Statistics Are Trade Secrets

The Minister of Communications says the traffic statistics of messaging apps are trade secrets.

Zarepour, in response to journalists about the reason for not providing traffic statistics of domestic messaging apps, said that the detailed information of these apps is part of their trade secrets, and we cannot publish it.

According to him, Mojtaba Tavangar, the head of the Digital Economy Commission of the Parliament, who had asked about this, is to be invited to a meeting to receive the information.

The Minister of Communications, referring to Tavangar’s letter about the reduction in operators’ revenue, said that this matter is not true at all, and no operator is on the verge of bankruptcy.
