The Minister of Communications’ reaction to the internet disruption: It was a technical issue, and I deny any cyber attack.

Isa Zarepour, Iran’s Minister of Communications, says the recent internet disruptions in the country were due to technical reasons, and he has denied any cyber attack.

Zarepour told Tasnim News Agency that on Saturday, there was a technical issue in the country’s infrastructure network, and for about half an hour, perhaps 25% of the country’s capacity was affected.

According to him, today, due to rainfall in Khuzestan, 30% of mobile sites have been cut off.

The Iranian Minister of Communications, denying a cyber attack, stated that absolutely no attack had occurred, and it was a technical issue.
