Minister of Communications: Russian Launcher to Send an Iranian Satellite into Space

The Russian launcher will send an Iranian satellite into space, says the Minister of Communications.

Issa Zarepour, Iran’s Minister of Communications, told state media on Friday that while concerns in Washington about the deepening security ties between Tehran and Moscow have intensified, a Russian launcher will send an Iranian satellite into space on Thursday.

He said that tomorrow the Pars 1 imaging reconnaissance satellite, which is 100% Iranian, will be launched as the twelfth launch under the thirteenth government.

The Iranian Minister of Communications said the goal is to develop international interactions.
