Minister of Culture: We are not concerned about the boycott of the Fajr Festival

The Minister of Culture is not worried about the boycott of the Fajr Festival

Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, said about the boycott of this year’s Fajr Film Festival that similar remarks were made about the Cinema Verite festival, yet only 8 films were withdrawn, and more than 500 films were submitted to the festival.

This is our best festival, and it has significantly improved in both quantity and quality compared to last year.

We are not worried about the Fajr Film Festival, and all cultural and artistic communities view the festival as a season of joy and dynamism for the country’s artistic society, and for this reason, everyone is eagerly awaiting the start of the festival.
