Minister of Economy: We are facing a generation that lacks motivation and interest in governing the country
Ehsan Khandozi, the Minister of Economy and Finance, stated that the structures and institutions formed in recent decades have resulted in the general public becoming indifferent and even apathetic, and have created obstacles for those who wish to play a role in governing the country. Today, the outcome is that we are facing a relatively large generation in society that fundamentally lacks motivation and interest in the governance of the country.
He expressed hope that the change in approach initiated by Mr. Raisi’s government could open a new chapter in the interaction between the people, general producers, and investors with the country’s policy-making system.
