The Interior Minister: Purchasing property by foreigners in the name of others is illegal

The Interior Minister said that buying a house by foreign nationals is subject to regulations, which we currently do not have. Therefore, purchasing property in the name of a foreign national is not relevant at the moment. It is possible that some have done this in the name of others, which is illegal. Naturally, if the systems and agencies responsible for oversight encounter these violations, they will consider it an illegal act.

Regarding the situation of organizing foreign nationals, which has faced public criticism for some time, he stated that firstly, supervision has increased now. A significant number of unauthorized foreign nationals have been expelled, and this work is being done continuously.

Vahidi emphasized that any foreign nationals in the country without a permit must definitely be returned, and this is on the agenda. This is the case in Tehran as well. We tell our dear ones who have come from neighboring countries and are here that those without a permit must return, and those with a permit should act strictly within the framework of their permit.
