Minister of Roads: JCPOA was the work of the Yazid of our time

While all the demands of President Raisi’s negotiators are for the U.S. to return to the JCPOA, Rostam Ghasemi, the Minister of Roads, considers the JCPOA the handiwork of the Yazid of our time.

Rostam Ghasemi, who was the Minister of Oil in Ahmadinejad’s government and during his confirmation session also thought he was going to become the Minister of Oil, wrote in a tweet that Ashura taught us that although the truth is always alone, if you are with the leadership, you will be eternal, even if the number of Yazidis of our time is as vast as the whole world.

He further stated that the Islamic Revolution of Iran is inspired by Ashura, and a Shiite follower of Hussein neither finds solace in Yazid’s truce nor forgets his duty with the JCPOA of the Yazidis of our time.

The JCPOA revival talks have resumed in Vienna, Austria, after a five-month hiatus, and Ali Bagheri Kani, the chief negotiator of the thirteenth government, is conducting indirect negotiations with the U.S.
