Reaction of the Ministry of Culture to the work ban on five singers

Following the news about the work ban on five pop music singers, the director general of the Music Office of the Ministry, without confirming or denying the news, mentioned the possibility of issues arising in musical activities and stated that the easiest way to resolve questions and misunderstandings is to visit the Music Office.

According to IRNA, Mohammad Allahyari stated that in the past three months, most of the well-known pop music artists have performed on stage, and some artists, with the assistance of the government and related institutions, have had stage performances after several years of activity.

During the protest movement in recent months, many music artists refrained from performing in venues.
