Ministry of Interior: 3 Detainees from Poisoning Incidents are Protesters

The Ministry of Interior: 3 of those arrested for the poisonings are protesters

The Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran claimed in a statement that three of the individuals recently arrested on suspicion of involvement in the poisonings of Iranian schools are among the protesters of the nationwide protests in Iran.

On Tuesday, March 7, the ministry, in its third statement regarding the suspicious poisonings in Iranian schools, wrote that it has arrested several teams suspected of being involved in these poisonings.

The statement claims that according to received information, in one of the four-member teams, three individuals have a criminal record, including participation in the recent riots, and their connection with hostile foreign media, which have played a significant role in the recent riots and hybrid warfare, has been established.

This comes shortly after Majid Mirahmadi, the Deputy Minister of Interior for Security and Law Enforcement, announced the arrest of several individuals in five provinces in relation to these poisonings and noted that there were also cases that were non-hostile in nature.
