Missile attack on US base in Syria had no casualties

The United States Army announced that a missile attack was launched on a base in eastern Syria where American forces are stationed. According to US Army data, no one was killed or injured in this attack, and no damage was reported.

In the US Army’s statement, it was mentioned that this attack took place on the evening of Monday, April 10, and one missile struck the Conoco support center, an American oil company in eastern Syria, while another missile was found at the location from where the attack was launched.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for this missile attack.

However, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, based in Britain, suspects that this attack may have been carried out by Iran-backed militias stationed in eastern Syria.

Similar attacks have occurred in the past. In early 2023, a drone, reportedly made in Iran, targeted facilities where coalition forces are stationed in northeastern Syria.
