Mohammad Ali Abadi, Vice President of the Swimming Federation: Closing Two Thousand Public Pools Doesn't Affect Gas Supply

Mohammad Ali Abadi, the Vice President of the Swimming Federation, says closing two thousand public pools does not reduce the gas supply burden.

The Vice President of the Swimming Federation criticized the gas cuts and the closure of many public pools, saying that closing two thousand public pools does not reduce the gas supply burden, but if the pools in villas and private complexes are closed, this burden will definitely decrease.

ISNA news agency quoted Mohammad Ali Abadi Azad as saying that Iran does not have a gas shortage, and in fact, it even exports gas. It should even be said that Iran is sitting on gas. Our problem is the mismanagement of these resources.

He said there are 500 to 600 thousand pools in complexes and villas in Iran. The pools in private complexes have always been open, and at most, 5 people use them daily. Crisis management should be implemented, but in Iran, we have about 2,000 public pools that people can use. If these 2,000 pools are opened, about several million people would use them.
