Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf: The U.S. Plans Ground Attacks While Negotiating

Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf: The US is planning a ground attack while negotiating

The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly announced that the United States speaks of negotiation while simultaneously designing military options.

On Sunday, March 29th, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf emphasized in a statement that Washington’s talk of dialogue does not align with its field actions, and he considered this situation a sign of contradictions in US policies.

He also said that Iranian forces are prepared for various scenarios and are monitoring field developments.

In another part of his speech, Qalibaf referred to what he called the list of US demands and said these reflect goals that, according to him, Washington has not achieved on the battlefield and is now pursuing through diplomacy.

The Speaker of the Islamic Republic also added that as long as US policy is based on forcing Iran to surrender, Tehran’s stance will not change.
