Mohammad Hassan Asafari, a member of parliament, says the security agencies have not been able to find any leads on the poisonings.
Mohammad Hassan Asafari, a member of parliament, referring to the recent meeting of the fact-finding committee investigating the causes of student poisonings, said that the committee held a meeting last week, but unfortunately, we did not have any outcomes from the meeting because the security agencies have not yet been able to find the main leads on the poisonings.
The committee emphasizes that security agencies need to make more efforts and not abandon this issue, especially with the assumption that this was caused by the mischief of some students. Of course, after the incident, some students have contributed to the situation, but saying that the cause of the poisoning was just scented toy balloons is not acceptable to the committee.
First of all, the Ministry of Health must determine the type of poisoning, which has not yet been precisely identified for this committee. Substances like naphthalene have been mentioned, but these are not the main source.
