Mohammad Javad Zarif: The country should focus on peace instead of hostility

Mohammad Javad Zarif: The country should focus on peace instead of enmity.

At the opening of the Ahad Party Congress, Mohammad Javad Zarif emphasized the extensive global, regional, and domestic developments, stating that today’s world is no longer one of traditional blocs and permanent alliances. He said that in the current world, relying on fixed allies has no meaning, and any country that depends on such a notion must take responsibility for it, as today’s world is one of interconnected networks and thematic coalitions.

He highlighted the importance of peace and cooperation as a strategy for Iran’s future, stating that the country should focus on peace and convergence based on realistic capacities and aspirations instead of enmity. Only on this path can the capabilities of the Iranian nation flourish, and a sustainable and successful future be secured for the country.

According to Zarif, security and justice will only be sustainable when the country’s capacities and capabilities are utilized in a coordinated and balanced manner, and the zero-sum perspective, which leads to collective failure, is abandoned.
