Mohammad Sadr realized that a country cannot be governed without foreign policy

Mohammad Sadr realized that a country cannot be managed without foreign policy.

Mohammad Sadr noted that the extremists in Iran, during Mr. Rouhani’s government, attacked the Saudi embassy, leading to the severance of relations between the two countries. At that time, Mr. Rouhani’s government should have dealt seriously with those extremists who now hold power.

Unfortunately, the necessary actions were not taken, and Saudi Arabia felt that extremists had come to power in Iran. In the new government, initially, the issues of foreign policy were not understood, but over time, they concluded that a country cannot be governed without foreign policy.

I see the start of this agreement as the beginning of a transformation in foreign policy that could lead to the JCPOA, FATF, and engagement with the world.
