Mohsen Rezaei called the agency’s resolution illegal and political
Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, described the resolution passed by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency as an illegal action, technically unfounded, and completely political, claiming that this resolution was passed under pressure from the United States and Israel.
He also warned that the agency’s political actions could push some countries towards withdrawing from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, known as the NPT.
