Mohseni Ejei to Firmly Address the Case of Police Force Murder Elements

Mohseni Eje’i, decisively address the case of the perpetrators of the police officers’ murder.

A day after a night gathering in front of Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan aimed at halting the execution of Majid Kazemi, Saleh Mirhashemi, and Saeed Yaghoubi, the three defendants in the case known as the Isfahan House, a group of legal experts and attorneys warned of widespread violations of existing laws in the process of handling the cases of protesting citizens in Iran and called for an immediate halt to the implementation of the death penalty in all cases, including the case known as the Isfahan House.

At the same time, Gholamhossein Mohseni Eje’i, the head of the judiciary, in a speech without directly referring to this case, said in the Supreme Judicial Council meeting that this institution is determined to demonstrate utmost decisiveness and speed in addressing the case of the perpetrators of the murder and martyrdom of police officers.

Since four nights ago, when the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting aired the forced confessions of Majid Kazemi, Saeed Yaghoubi, and Saleh Mirhashemi, the three defendants in the case known as the Isfahan House, concerns about the execution of these three individuals have intensified.
