Mojgan Inanloo's Court Session Held

Mojgan Einanlou’s trial was held

The court session for addressing the charges against documentary filmmaker Mojgan Einanlou was held in Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court

During this session, which was held in Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge Afshari, Ms. Einanlou faced charges of assembly and collusion and committing crimes against internal and external security, propaganda against the Islamic Republic system, encouraging people to corruption and prostitution, and disturbing public order and peace

This session was held without prior notice to the documentary filmmaker and her family, in private and without the presence of her chosen lawyer

According to this report, Mojgan Einanlou, rejecting these charges, called the trial illegal as it did not follow the legal process, and considered expressing opposition as her definite civil right, reminding that over the past years, as a documentary filmmaker and social activist, she has tried to defend the violated rights of Iranian women and girls
