Molavi Abdolhamid Criticizes Rising Prices in Iran

Mawlavi Abdul Hamid criticized the rise in prices in Iran

Mawlavi Abdul Hamid Ismaeelzahi, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, criticized the rise in prices and taxes in Iran during this week’s Friday prayer sermon and called on the country’s officials to change domestic and foreign policies based on national interests and to pay attention to economic solutions.

Addressing the officials, Mawlavi Abdul Hamid said that heavy costs should not be imposed on the people and that they should first think about their own nation.

The Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan stated that all segments of society, including workers, teachers, and employees, are unable to afford living expenses, and said that people are caught in poverty and corruption in society. He emphasized that officials should not compensate for budget deficits by increasing taxes from the people’s pockets.

According to local media reports, today, as in previous weeks, worshippers held a silent march after the Friday prayer.
