Mawlana Abdul Hamid is pressuring the survivors of the Bloody Friday to accept blood money.
Mawlana Abdul Hamid Ismaeel Zehi, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, said in today’s Friday sermon that it is being heard that survivors and victims of the Bloody Friday in Zahedan are being pressured to accept blood money, an act that is neither customary, religiously, nor legally acceptable.
He mentioned the order from Iran’s leader for follow-up and said, ‘We used to think that when the leader gives an order, everyone listens, but now we see that some do not follow certain orders of his.’
Mawlana Abdul Hamid referred to statements by a military official who said that military equipment in the province would be reinforced, and he stated that the solution to the problems, not only in this province but throughout Iran, is not to strengthen military equipment, but rather the only way is dialogue, respecting the people, and listening to their criticisms.
