Molavi Abdolhamid’s warning to the government: Listen to the people’s words before the opportunity is lost
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, during the Friday prayer on April 6, opposed any kind of insecurity and bloodshed and asked government officials to listen to the people’s demands and opinions.
In response to the Thursday attack in Rask and Chabahar, Molavi Abdolhamid stated that he is against any insecurity and bloodshed and advised the provincial and national security officials to be attentive and observant and solve problems through dialogue.
In a several-hour-long clash between the law enforcement and military forces of the Islamic Republic and members of the Jaish al-Adl group in two cities in the Sistan and Baluchestan province on Thursday, April 5, at least 11 government forces and at least 18 members of this group were killed.
He added that even the words of the harshest enemies should be heard, and if anyone speaks the truth, they should be given their due.
Molavi Abdolhamid further said that the most important demand of the Iranian nation during the protests was for their voices to be heard by the authorities.
