Monthly housing inflation in Tehran hits a record

Housing inflation in Tehran has surged in the first winter month of the country, reaching its highest level in two years.

Data from the Iranian Statistics Center shows that the housing price index in Tehran during the first winter month was 1914. Statistical comparisons indicate that the monthly inflation for January 2023 in Tehran’s housing sector was 98 percent, reaching the peak of at least the last two years. This event has also caused the year-on-year housing growth to be 66 percent, reaching the highest level in the past year.
