More than 20 Representatives Object to Zelensky's Speech in the Austrian Parliament

Objection of more than 20 representatives to Zelensky’s speech in the Austrian Parliament

More than 20 far-right representatives of the Austrian Parliament left their seats in protest of the video speech by Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine.

Representatives of the Freedom Party of Austria stated that the reason for leaving the parliament hall was that Mr. Zelensky’s speech violated Vienna’s neutrality. Austria’s permanent neutrality policy has been part of the country’s constitution since 1955.
