Nasser Kanaani: Some Arrogant European Countries Are Indebted to Humanity on Women's Issues

Nasser Kanaani: A few arrogant European countries owe the human society on the issue of women

Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote in a series of tweets today, Thursday, March 9, about International Women’s Day. He stated that instead of being a motivation to reflect on the disastrous record of Western culture in dealing with women’s and family rights, International Women’s Day has become a subject of political exploitation by Western officials. They unjustly claim the position of women’s rights advocates and accuse and question other countries and nations, despite their civilizational and cultural diversity.

In another tweet, he wrote that the United States and a few arrogant European countries, with their dark record of violating fundamental human and women’s rights in their own societies and other parts of the world, violating established laws, as well as religious and ethical teachings of human and women’s rights, are not at all in a position to accuse others. Rather, they owe the world and human society on the issue of human and women’s rights.
