NATO Secretary General Arrives in the Capital of Ukraine

The NATO Secretary General arrived in the capital of Ukraine.

Jens Stoltenberg, the NATO Secretary General, stated that member countries of this organization have not fulfilled their promises for military aid to Ukraine in recent months, and said that the flow of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine will soon increase.

On Monday, April 29, the NATO Secretary General made an unannounced visit to Kyiv and met with Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine.

Stoltenberg’s visit to Ukraine on Monday was his third trip to the country since Russia’s military invasion in February 2022. This visit took place at a time when Ukraine is facing difficulties on the battlefield.

After Ukraine’s counteroffensive failed last year, Russian forces, partly due to the reduction of Western weapons and ammunition sent to Ukraine, took the initiative.
