Ned Price Steps Down as U.S. State Department Spokesperson

Ned Price is stepping down from his role as the spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that Ned Price, the spokesperson for the Department of State, will step down from his role as spokesperson at the end of this month, March.

The U.S. Secretary of State, while appreciating Ned Price’s two-year service as the spokesperson for the Department of State, said that he has performed his duties professionally.

Blinken did not provide an explanation for the spokesperson’s departure or who will replace him, but he mentioned that Price will remain in the Department of State and will work directly with him.
