Netanyahu called the deadly attack on Rafah a tragic mistake

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, on Monday, May 28, described the Israeli army’s Sunday night airstrike on the Palestinian refugee camp in Rafah as a tragic mistake.

According to AFP, quoting the Hamas Ministry of Health, at least 45 people were killed in the Israeli airstrike on the refugee camp in Rafah on Sunday night.

Josep Borrell, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, said he was horrified by this attack and called for an immediate halt to these attacks.

The United Nations also called for a full and transparent investigation into this attack.
