Netanyahu says the ceasefire agreement means we will now focus on the threat of Iran
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, says he supports the ceasefire plan in Lebanon and will put it to a vote in his cabinet
In a televised speech, Netanyahu announced that he supports this ceasefire plan for three reasons
He explained his reasons as focusing on the threat from Iran, which he will not provide more details on at this stage; the need to extend military forces and overcome the arms barriers that will soon be resolved; and the third reason is severing the connection between Hamas and other fronts and further isolating Hamas, which is already alone and isolated
