Netanyahu: Despite international pressures, we will continue the war

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, says that the Israeli military’s attacks against Hamas will continue despite international criticism and pressure.

According to Reuters, Netanyahu said in statements on Thursday, March 7, in Tel Aviv that international pressure is increasing, but especially under these international pressures, we must consolidate our ranks, stand together, and continue the war to the end.

The Israeli Prime Minister further announced the continuation of military operations throughout the Gaza Strip and added that these operations will also expand to Rafah, the last stronghold of Hamas.

According to Netanyahu, those who ask Israel not to conduct operations in Rafah want the country to fail, and this is something that will not happen.

Netanyahu’s statements apparently relate to intense efforts by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar to reach an agreement over the battles in the Gaza Strip by the beginning of Ramadan.
