Netanyahu does not get from polluted water but from fish blood

Netanyahu does not take from muddy water, but from fish blood.

The Prime Minister of the Israeli government has gone beyond the level of deceptive political rhetoric of the past and taken steps towards a new era.

His press conference on the day of major protests and strikes in Israel was more than just a show, surpassing his past speeches and meetings.

He displayed such skill in twisting sentences and ideas that astonished reporters, when everyone was waiting for hints of flexibility from Netanyahu regarding border crossings for ceasefire talks and hostage release negotiations, he emphasized the importance of controlling these crossings by presenting a map of the region.

Netanyahu eloquently and in detail spoke about the importance of controlling the entry and exit to Gaza and preventing weapon smuggling. He insisted on Israel’s achievements during military operations at the Philadelphia crossing point, emphasizing that these types of attacks put the best pressure on Hamas and are the best way to force them to release hostages.

He once again insisted that by the end of May, he had agreed to Biden’s proposed agreement, and it is Hamas that has not accepted the agreement. The surprising and remarkable part of Netanyahu’s press conference was an Arabic text he displayed, claiming it was obtained from Hamas.

This text emphasizes on the psychological pressure on Israelis through images and content related to hostages, portraying Defense Minister Galant as a suitable figure to pressure Netanyahu. The image was highly influential and effectively humiliated his defense minister in front of the cameras.

In response to journalists about the future of his cooperation with the Defense Minister, he did not provide a clear explanation and simply stated that cooperation will continue as long as there is mutual trust with the ministers.

Netanyahu successfully navigated even the recent criticism from Biden in a way that did not benefit anyone.

With a brilliant rhetorical flexibility, he conditioned the end of the war on eliminating Hamas’ military power and political control in Gaza, distancing himself from the promise to eliminate Hamas.

The impact of these statements on public opinion will need to be assessed in the near future.
