Netanyahu gave Trump a pager as a gift

The Israeli government’s press office published a picture of a gold-colored pager on Thursday, February 7th, stating that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, gave it to Donald Trump, the President of the United States, during a meeting.

On the screen of this golden pager, it is written: ‘Please press with both hands.’

The Israeli government’s press office added that the pager symbolizes a decision by Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, which led to a change in the course of the war and weakened the morale of Hezbollah in Lebanon.

The reference by the Israeli government’s press office is to the simultaneous explosion of thousands of pagers belonging to Hezbollah forces on September 18th of this year in Lebanon and parts of Syria, followed by the explosion of other communication equipment of this group the next day, which resulted in at least 42 deaths and thousands of injuries.
