Public opinion in the region has concluded that since Israel’s actions are supported by the US, the responsibility for their consequences also lies with the US. While it is claimed that the US is unwilling to enter new wars, Israel’s behaviors have prevented this claim from being realized in practice. With the support of the US, Israel has managed to continue its conflicts and turn them into attritional wars. The global public is aware of this issue, which worries Israeli officials.
