Netanyahu ordered the military to attack Lebanese militants with full force
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, in response to the killing of the commander of the 52nd Armored Battalion and three Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon, announced that he has ordered the military to carry out extensive attacks against Lebanese militants.
Netanyahu, in a message on the social network X, described this attack as a blatant violation of the ceasefire and wrote that last night he ordered the Israeli army to attack Hezbollah with full force.
According to the Israeli Prime Minister, the country’s military, in response to this attack, has targeted more than 80 positions belonging to Lebanese militants and has killed dozens of the group’s forces.
He also expressed sympathy with the families of the killed soldiers, hoping that their blood will be avenged, and emphasized that Israel will not tolerate attacks on its military forces or its territory.
Netanyahu warned that the cost of these attacks will be very heavy for the Lebanese militants.
The Israeli Prime Minister also announced that on Friday morning, together with the Defense Minister and the Chief of General Staff, he reviewed the operational situation in southern Lebanon and once again emphasized the continued presence of Israeli forces in the southern Lebanon buffer zone.
He said that Israel will remain in the southern Lebanon security zone as long as it is necessary to protect the northern settlements.
