Siege of Netanyahu’s wife in a hair salon
In the past eight weeks, hundreds of thousands of Israeli citizens have protested in the streets against the judicial reform plan.
While the judicial reform plan is on its way to the Israeli parliament for approval, the protest movement has called for a day of disruption.
On the day of disruption, for instance, streets, highways, and train stations are blocked by protesters, causing heavy traffic.
On the evening of Wednesday, March 1st, after one of the customers at a women’s hair salon in Tel Aviv posted a selfie with Sara Netanyahu, the wife of the Israeli Prime Minister, hundreds of protesters gathered in front of the salon and chanted ‘Shame on you, shame on you.’
