New Zealand also banned TikTok

New Zealand has joined the ranks of other countries around the world that have restricted the use of the Chinese-owned social media app TikTok.

According to officials of this country, this video app will be banned from all devices that have access to the parliamentary network by the end of this month.

Yesterday, the UK banned the use of this app on all government phones following the European Union countries.

U.S. government agencies also have until the end of the month to remove it from their official devices.

TikTok has denied claims that this app could secretly provide a way for Chinese intelligence services to access information on mobile phones.
