The husband of Niloufar Hamedi, the detained journalist, said Niloufar cried the first time she saw a football field.

Mohammad Hossein Ajrlou, the husband of Niloufar Hamedi, a journalist who was arrested for reporting on Mahsa Amini and her family from Kasra Hospital in Tehran, shared a photo revealing her interest in playing football. He tweeted that four years ago in June, we went to Azadi Stadium to watch the Iran and Spain match in the World Cup in Russia. When Niloufar Hamedi saw the football field up close for the first time, she cried.

Niloufar loves football very much and has been advocating for women’s right to enter stadiums for several years.
