Fars: No agreement will be signed today

Fars News Agency reported, citing a source close to the Iranian negotiating team, that definitely no agreement will be signed at the time announced by Trump.

This source, who spoke with Fars a few hours before Israel’s attack on the Beirut suburb, stated that the Qatari mediation team is currently in Tehran and is conveying Iran’s views and details to the other side.

According to this source, the negotiation process is still ongoing, and none of the discussed issues have been finalized.

He emphasized that even if we move forward and backward in the negotiation process, Iran’s fundamental condition is that all its concerns are fully addressed by the end.

These statements are being made while Donald Trump had said that the agreement with Iran would be signed today and that afterwards, the Strait of Hormuz would be reopened to all ships.
