Lack of information about Hanieh Zain Al-Abidin’s condition after arrest

A source close to Hanieh Zain Al-Abidin’s family has said they have no information about the condition and whereabouts of this 28-year-old woman after her arrest.

Officials arrested Ms. Zain Al-Abidin on November 17 on Sepah Street in Qom, and then plainclothes officers went to her parents’ house without a warrant and confiscated her tablet and computer case.

The source says the family was told that the Ministry of Intelligence arrested her, and the Eleventh Investigative Branch in Qom also told the family that a case has been filed for Ms. Zain Al-Abidin, but they have never seen her.

The source says Ms. Zain Al-Abidin had taken a massage course to help her mother, who suffers from multiple sclerosis. The source also mentioned that her mother’s condition has worsened since her arrest. Ms. Zain Al-Abidin was a painting instructor and also took photography orders.
