The Ham Mihan newspaper takes no responsibility for the metro hijab enforcers.
The Ham Mihan newspaper wrote that the metro hijab enforcers have been causing controversies for a long time, first for the municipality and now for the government. These controversies arose from their hiring, sudden absence, and return as self-appointed enforcers.
Now that an image of the metro hijab enforcers, like a tunnel at the entrance of a station, has been published, the Minister of Interior says no permit was issued for their activity and reiterated the repeated statement of the Tehran mayor in his own words.
Ham Mihan further claimed that these individuals appeared in the metro under ‘supporters’ contracts with a salary of 12 million.
The newspaper wrote that the recent statement by the Minister of Interior will further erode the already fragile trust between the people and the authorities, and to eliminate ambiguities, it is sufficient for the officials to respond.
