North Korea fires two more ballistic missiles
As the powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un warned U.S. forces to halt military exercises, the country launched two more ballistic missiles towards its eastern coast on Monday.
These launches come just two days after North Korea fired an intercontinental ballistic missile towards the sea off Japan’s west coast, prompting the United States to conduct joint air drills with South Korea and separately with Japan on Sunday.
Reuters, quoting North Korea’s state media, reports that the two recent launches targeted objectives at distances of 395 kilometers and 337 kilometers, respectively.
