North Korea to Send Over 10,000 Troops to Aid Russian Army

North Korea’s leader is sending over 10,000 troops to assist the Russian army.

South Korean intelligence and spy agencies have claimed that Pyongyang is planning to deploy a large-scale military force to aid the Russian army in the war against Ukraine.

The South Korean spy agency has announced that currently, 1,500 special forces from North Korea are undergoing training in the far east of Russia to participate in the Ukraine war.

The South Korean National Intelligence Service, referring to Pyongyang’s decision to send thousands of soldiers to Russia to support its army in the Ukraine war, has released satellite images of what is being described as the first deployment of forces in this context.

The South Korean presidential office also reported the formation of an emergency security meeting chaired by President Yoon Suk-yeol on Friday, stating that this move by Pyongyang is seen by Seoul as a significant threat not only to South Korea but also to the international community.
