Note by Kasra Nouri Darvish Gonabadi: Victory in Heights is Not Just a Dream and Wish

Kasra Noori, a Gonabadi dervish, notes that victory is not in lofty heights, nor is it a mere thought or wish.

Kasra Noori, a Gonabadi dervish who was released from prison last week, expressed his happiness in a note about being among people who look at themselves through the mirror of time. He wrote, ‘For a long time, I thought happiness was perched on the serene and ideal throne atop the mythical Mount Qaf. But today, I find myself among people who, with their own blood, also address sorrow, who, with empty hands yet full of love, hold each other’s hands, and who, with weary steps but steadfast determination, stand together.’

In another part of this note, published on his Telegram channel, he stated, ‘Being with you people and alongside you is happiness. I am joyful and grateful to breathe the air that you have exhaled.’

Mr. Noori continued in this note, writing, ‘Victory is not in lofty heights, nor in the future, nor is it a mere thought or wish that demands a reward. Victory is right here, happiness is here, and you, the people, breathe life into it. Though it may have a bitter note today, it will one day play a joyous melody.’
