NPR’s initiative in creating dialogue between Iran and the USA is one of the reputable American media outlets that has a special and leading role in news reporting and analysis. Now, the special experts of this media have arranged an interesting dialogue between Iran and the USA by juxtaposing the statements of Iran’s Foreign Minister and Robert Malley. This simple and attractive method has facilitated a dialogue between the two sides within the media domain and naturally for the audience.
Regarding the Iranian people’s protests and their demands for civil rights, the Iranian government’s Foreign Minister had said that his message to the USA is that no significant events are happening in Iran and regime change will not occur. Robert Malley had stated that the USA’s demand from Iran is to grant basic civil rights to the people and to stop blaming the USA and Israel, and this regime or that government. The USA is never pursuing regime change in Iran.

Regarding the 2022 JCPOA negotiations, Iran’s Foreign Minister had said that they are very close to an agreement and only a few very important issues remain. On this, Robert Malley said that there was an agreement on the table that everyone agreed on by March 2022, and then summer came, followed by August, and Iran raised extraneous and unrelated demands.
Iran’s Foreign Minister has requested a guarantee that the next US President will not withdraw from the agreement, and Robert Malley has said that the Biden administration cannot influence the next US President, and if this is Iran’s demand, it lacks a basis for negotiation.
Regarding the freedom and exchange of prisoners, Iran’s Foreign Minister has expressed full readiness for dialogue and receiving something in return for the release of American prisoners. Robert Malley has also said about the prisoners and their exchange that there is no trade or barter involved, and the USA will continue its maximum efforts for the freedom of its prisoners.
